These days Designer may have builtin separate support for viewing either C++ or Python generated code. But, if it does then that would be for PySide output not PyQt output. Double check the imports. The feature and docs maybe need to be updated but I'll go ahead and merge and release this fix.

WebRather than trying to run the python library I'd try pyuic5.exe. Your command will look something like. C:\ProgramData\Anaconda\Scripts\pyuic5.exe calc.ui -o ui_calc.py. Check to make sure the correct path for pyuic.exe but that should work. I've found this command a lot less buggy in Windows environments.
