Step 2: temporarily remove any robot,companions and ......synth children from your settlement. step 3: paintings and chairs do affect happiness from what i heard. Step 4: if all is done correctly then happiness should rise. WebOne thing I will say is to hang around there because it will get attacked without warning you sometimes and that affects happiness. (AFAIK, Codsworth doesn't count because he is also a companion) Check Greygarden, and you'll see that without any human settlers it will never rise above 50. pbs the sound of music

Just showing up will cause it to return to it's normal level and actually sleeping there for a while will raise it slightly.
