WebAug 3, 2006 · Nice project. Totally unadvised but nice for upon thinking about it there is just enough meat in the step pulleys to machine grooves of correct pitch to receive belt. It's nuts to go all that work in mo. Turn the belt over and the surface no better than leather. The leather belt can be redone. Webhelp on drive belt. so i’ve got my chain conversion kit in. but i can’t get the drive belt cog off as it just spins. i can’t wedge the drive belt in it to stop it coz the drive belt is stripped i’ve tried a screwdriver but that’s not working how do i get this off.
